Shashi Tharoor's various interpretation & Critique on two film's with reference to Postcolonial insights....
Write on key arguments in Shashi Tharoor's book - " An Era of Darkness".
In his book he talked about the British rule in India. He thought about colonial by British that he prefer as book in Oxford that what problems are make by Britishers in India.
Next thing was the law of homosexuality and Sidicism case was goes on wrong direction by government or say wrong use of that law.
The truth is we have to blame our Indian rulers as well. The problem of Hindu and Muslim. British has systematic policy after the Indian revolt of 1857-58 that they called a mutiny. They wanted to create division between Hindus and Muslims fighting together against the British rallying jointing under the flag of the Mughal emperor. After that cast identity and numbers of people in Hindu and Muslim, British encourage Muslim against Hindu and than partitions happened between India and Bengal by Britishers.
The comparison of those days and today's are too much difference. like today's nationalism which are much more narrow minded and exclusionary in compare to those days. So as compare with Britishers they are remains as foreigners at the last and Indian people contribute to make building in that land rather than here in India.
Write critique on both the films with reference to Postcolonial insights.

Summarise Ngugi Wa Thiongo's views :-
Ngugi Wa Thiongo who was an African Writer & Professor of English Literature and language in Africa.
" Decolonizing the Mind" the book by Kenyan novelist and Postcolonial theorist Ngugi Wa Thiongo. It is the collection of essay about language & its constructive role in national culture, history and identity.
In this book he talks about..." What language played the role in African Literature?"
So in the Postcolonialism , Resistance is very importan, Resistance is the main buzz word in post colonial. So he said that the another form of to resist language is to
own it or discard the language totally.
So ,in a way African Literature resist a lot in this idea.
